What is a ZLD plant?
A zero liquid discharge plant treats and recovers wastewater so that no liquid effluent leaves the site. Water is recovered for reuse and dissolved salts are separated as solids.
What equipment is used in ZLD?
Typically ETP, UF and RO, followed by evaporation (MEE), agitated thin film drying (ATFD) and crystallization, with condensate recovery.
Can ZLD be added to an existing ETP?
Yes. We study your existing ETP and RO and design the additional stages needed.
Do you provide operation support for ZLD?
Yes. We provide commissioning, operator training, AMC and O&M.
